Prepare to send your heart aflutter with Bianca and Ryan’s delicate, intimate and romantic styled elopement that embraces a bevy of French-inspired details and the most beautiful moments captured on film.

Drawing inspiration from our surroundings at the picturesque Pheasant Hill, I began to compile a design board filled with soft textures and muted tones. I wanted to create a style in-keeping with the beautiful and grand interiors of the Ile-de-France Banqueting Hall and the lush green gardens. Pheasant Hill provided the perfect backdrop – a dreamy wedding location for those seeking to be surrounded by high aesthetics blended with tranquility and romance.

A Royally Romantic Dream

For the tablescape, we used the prominent blues and creams in the Banqueting Hall to influence our colour palette. Hues of dusty rose, blush and cream were sprinkled throughout the bouquet, completing the ethereal feel and timeless elegance of the day. An awe-inspiring greenery installation atop the mantelpiece framed the intimate reception table, which was styled elegantly with bud vases in softly nuanced tones. Individual stems of tulips and garden roses danced above the shimmering crystal-ware and French ceramic dinner plates. An abundance of flickering candlelight – which is always a key feature in my work – in shades of blush and white were combined with draped linens that cascaded to the floor. This was a table fit for a king and queen!

Simple, Stately, Sophisticated

The flora-design element was consistently used throughout: Freesia Quaint incorporated natural ivy-branches into the stunning large-scale floral designs; in the exquisite beaded “Blythe” headpiece which was hand-crafted by Kathleen Barry; and the sophisticated hand-painted cake by Cake Box. The elegant stationery too, designed by Rabbitstrail, exuded a classic yet modern feel with a subtle French-botanical print evident throughout the suite.

Fit for a Queen

The bride’s gown captured the fairytale-essence of this magical day! Bianca glistened in a stunning bespoke masterpiece by Simone Couture with a delicate silhouette, ruffled sleeves, flowing tulle, and understated shimmer. Lest we forget the princess’ bejeweled slippers designed by Opari! Hair and make-up were kept elegant and refined.

Jenna-Storey Photography captured the entire romance of the day perfectly. Her soft and feminine approach is so evident throughout this gallery.

Bianca and Ryan, this remarkable day was filled with so much love and joy! My wish is to provide you both with hope and excitement as we wait in anticipation for your ‘happily-ever-after!’
