Tenderness, poetic detail, and an ode to beauty form a romantic unity in this enchanting vignette. Our aim was to create something exceptionally delicate, feminine, romantic, and ethereal in style.
The idea that something so stunningly beautiful can at the same time feel both effortless and unspoken is awe-inspiring! That was our goal of this shoot: to create a garden-inspired look that embodied the effortlessly romantic nature of a lush garden while incorporating a touch of modern elegance. The all-white colour palette, no lace gown, and modern tablescape all came together seamlessly – bringing our vision for a modern, garden-inspired wedding to life.
Our colour palette was inspired by the beauty of the spring season, blooming trees, and flowers that exude a sense of freshness. In addition to the enchanting floral masterpieces, it was the bride herself who was seen as artwork and as the epitome of perfection.
Good design should be more than just beautiful; it should be an experience for the senses. As the soft breeze billowed through the conservatory at Lieu de Grace – a gorgeous venue nestled in the countryside – the room came to life! Simone’s soft curls caressing her skin, the scent of abundant florals, and the serene sound of tall, lush grasses swaying in the wind filled the room. The incredible floral artistry by Wild Leaves Floral Design was inspired by the fundamentals of good garden design. Blocking types of flowers or plants together to give them more visual impact, layering textures and heights for maximum interest, and using a variety of shapes and sizes of flowers.
Luxurious milk stone linen kept the table palette clean and bright, allowing the lush floral centerpieces to speak for themselves. Modern tabletop décor with clean, minimal lines and a soft, flowing napkin topped with a torn-edge dinner menu embellished with gold-leaf detail tied everything together. Our bride’s gown was the epitome of elegance and refined beauty. From the soft wispy ruffles to the high neckline that covered the front of the dress, it brought a sense of romance and fragility that sweetly whispers femininity. Her natural hair and make-up look both finished and authentic; accentuating her natural beauty with neutral tones and softness. The jewellery by Miinella perfectly embodied the marriage of modern and romantic; whilst the minimal and modern wedding cake added a dash of romantic femininity while continuing to attend to the detail of texture represented throughout the design elements. All this captured by Light Flair Photography in their signature timeless style; effortlessly elegant and emotive with a romantic, film aesthetic.
For me, this vignette celebrates the themes of patience, stillness, and new chapters in life. These concepts are so poignant for me currently, but are also key for couples embarking on a new season in their lives. Creating a juxtaposition between old and new, modern and romantic depicts that timeless beauty never fades – perfectly blending the romance of garden weddings, with a touch of modern elegance!
